Soft cord / 软线

Soft cord is twisted or threaded raw yarn which is coated with one or several substrates to create adhesion to rubber mixtures. Primary features are soft haptics, low stiffness and the water-based chemical system.

Stiff cord / 硬线

Stiff cord is twisted yarn which is impregnated with solvent-free or solvent-based fittings. Multi-layer systems are possible as well. The pre-dip ensures a rigidity or cut resistance defined by the customer and results to the filaments of the individual yarn being glued in the twist system.

硬线是用无溶剂或溶剂型浸胶浸渍的加捻纱,也可适用于多层系统。

Untreated yarn / 非浸胶纱线

Untreated yarn are fiber raw materials which are twisted up as yarn or twisted together as thread. Typically, this technical yarn is not coated. We use different materials in different presentations to manufacture twisted yarn and thread.

非浸胶纱线是纤维原料卷成螺旋形纱线或加捻成白线。这种工业纱线特色是没有添加涂层。

As reinforcing materials, our technical yarns influence different functions of the final product. Those functions include size modifications under operational conditions, bursting strength as well as tensile strength and elasticity in longitudinal direction. Rubber-friendly fitted yarns are used in air condition, brake, hydraulic and fuel hoses, toothed belts, fan belts and other drive belts as well as various tires and air springs. The adhesion of the yarn to the rubber creates synergy effects between the textile and rubber in the final products. Low strength and partially low e-modules represent significant weaknesses of rubber in applications in technical items. The required properties of the final product can only be achieved through the combination with textile reinforcing materials, meaning the technical yarn by MEP. The selection of the coating follows the type of rubber as it is what creates the adhesion between textile and rubber. Coating is generally done using RFL dips which consist of latex, a resorcinol pre-condensate and formaldehyde dissolved in water or other solvents. The fiber raw material is generally selected in accordance with the mechanical requirements of the final product. Polyester (PES) creates a high degree of strength in combination with high shrinking forces and low elasticity. Polyamides (PA) create a high degree of elasticity while aramids (AR) will lead to high strength with low elasticity.
