Welcome to Simon Porn – COO Europe

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Simon Porn in our team!
On January 02nd, 2023, Simon started to work for MEHLER as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Europe.

In his function, Simon is responsible for the production plants in Europe (Hessisch Lichtenau / Germany, Hlinsko / Czech Republic, Landim / Portugal) and he leads the areas Global Quality, Global Engineering and Global Continuous Improvement.

Simon has an extensive knowledge and many years of experience in the fields of continuous improvement, project management, business development, operational management and developing corporate cultures and organizations.

One of Simon’s first tasks will be to implement a holistic global and forward-looking initiative to continuously improve the corporate workplace culture.
He will work closely together with his counterpart Marko Tschürtz, MEHLER’s COO Overseas.
