After two and a half years of intensive planning and construction work, the new hybrid, state-of-the-art yarn treatment plant in our new production hall in Hessisch Lichtenau was opened yesterday!
Plant Manager Slav Sening welcomed the 80 participating colleagues from the Hessisch Lichtenau and Fulda sites as well as the First City Councillor Hans-Karl Bock from Hessisch Lichtenau with an opening speech. After the official opening ceremony, guided tours of the hall took place along the impressive thread treatment plant. The afternoon was rounded off with a get-together for colleagues.
The final internal sampling and fine-tuning of the system is currently in full swing before the sampling process for customer samples for approval starts shortly.
With this investment, MEHLER is strengthening its leading market position in the technical thread sector in the heart of Europe.
