Our customers expect on-quality and on-time manufacturing of our technical fabrics. To meet these requirements, multi-stage processes, such as texturizing, twisting, warping and weaving, tumbling, treating, coating and finishing need to be managed. We are optimally setup for such tasks, as we control and manage the entire value chain internally.

Our  comprehensive portfolio of technical fabrics is used for a variety of applications. Most of the fabrics are tailor-made to meet the needs of specific downstream processes and end-uses. Technical fabrics are often used to reinforce different types of rubber compounds. In a textile/rubber composite structure, the textile fabric provides properties such as tensile strength and stiffness. In order to achieve the required degree of adhesion between textile and rubber, we coat our fabrics with RFL (resorcinol formaldehyde latex), or alternatively, with RF-free components.

Woven Fabrics

Technical woven fabrics offer functionality such as tensile strength in weft and warp direction. They are used in many markets and applications, including conveyor belts, filters, membranes, bullet-proof vests, roofs, floors, handrails, scrims, mesh and geotextiles. Most of our woven fabrics are tailor-made. Our fabric solutions are based on industry-proven yarns, engineered fabric constructions, tailor-made fabric finishing, treatments and coatings as well as tailored cuts. We produce untreated fabric with a width of up to 5.40m, dip-coated fabric up to 5,20m and treated fabric up to 2,95m. Thre fabric treatments include dry finishes such as heat-setting, tumbling, calendaring and doubling, and wet finishes like rubber-adhesive, oil/water-repellent, bitumen-friendly, flame/heat-resistant, antistatic, UV-resistant and colored. Fabric coating includes coating with PVC dispersion and paste (polyvinyl chloride), NBR (nitrile-butadiene rubber), CR (chloroprene rubber), SBR latex (styrene-butadiene rubber), PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), PVAC (polyvinyl acetate), PU (polyurethane), silicone and acrylate blends.

Cord Fabrics

Cord fabrics are mainly used in tires, hoses and air springs. They provide functionality like tensile strength mainly in warp direction. The weft yarn only serves as a tailor support and only has minimal impact on the performance of the final fabric. Typically polyamide, polyester and aramid yarn are twisted or rotated, woven and then RFL-coated (resorcinol formaldehyde latex) in a water-based system or coated with a RF-free adhesive to create sufficient adhesion to various types of rubber. Usually aramid fabric need an additional pre-dip to reach sufficient adhesion to rubber.
