Our colleagues from the Chinese MEHLER plant in Suzhou recently spent a two-day weekend trip.
In hot temperatures, the team cooled off in a water park and visited the historic part of the city of Ningbo near Suzhou.
In addition, a health challenge was held between the departments over a period of one month. The employees in the individual departments did a lot of sport and made sure they had a healthier diet. The department with the highest percentage weight loss received a prize. The employees of the mixing plant were the lucky winners of the challenge and were delighted to receive movie vouchers.
The idea of the challenge was to promote the health of employees at a time of high temperatures in Suzhou and to raise awareness of the health problems associated with an unhealthy diet and insufficient water intake.
