Thanks to the outstanding performance and close cooperation of the quality team, the plant manager and the entire workforce at our site in Bangalore, India, our Indian plant has successfully passed its first IATF 16949 certification.
We are very proud to have now completed a total of three initial certifications of this important standard for the automotive industry this year. The work in Bangalore completes the IATF 16949 certification series, which started in the summer with Martinsville / USA and was followed by Suzhou / China in the fall. In addition, the locations in Hessisch Lichtenau / Germany and Famalicão / Portugal were successfully re-certified this year.
