MEHLER Shengze in China is celebrating its 30th company anniversary!

30 years ago, in 1993, the company started with a promising joint venture and two production lines for soft cords.
Today, fully owned by MEHLER, the Chinese plant is one of the global players and main suppliers of the Chinese market when it comes to engineered yarns with its soft, stiff and specialty cords for applications such as power transmission belts, air springs and hoses.

Last week, almost 100 employees, the managing directors, some guests from customer side and five representatives of the Chinese local and county government enjoyed a wonderful company anniversary party.

Highlights of the celebration were the congratulatory speeches from the secretary of the local government, followed by a price ceremony for employees with 15, 20 and 30 years of service at MEHLER. The party was rounded off by congratulation videos from MEHLER facilities around the world, modern Chinese dance performances, a magic show and a sand drawing video about the company.
